🐶 Tommy’s Busy Day – Worksheet
🕮 Part 1. Read the Story
Tommy is a small brown dog. He lives with his family in a little house near the park. Every day, Tommy wakes up early. He opens his eyes, stretches his legs, and wags his tail. He feels happy because he loves mornings. His owner, Anna, comes to him and says, “Good morning, Tommy!”
Tommy eats his breakfast in the kitchen. He likes bread and milk, but he doesn’t like dry food. Anna always gives him fresh water. After breakfast, Tommy runs to the garden. He plays with his ball and chases birds, but he never hurts them. He just wants to play.
Does Tommy bark a lot? Yes, he does! He barks when he sees a cat or a car. But he doesn’t bark at people. He loves visitors, especially children. They pet him and throw the ball for him. Tommy jumps high and catches it every time.
After playing, Tommy feels tired. He lies under the big tree and takes a short nap. He doesn’t sleep for a long time because he wants to go for a walk. Anna takes him to the park. The park is beautiful and clean. The grass is green, and the flowers smell nice. Tommy runs fast, but Anna walks slowly. Does Tommy wait for her? Sometimes he does, and sometimes he doesn’t. When she calls him, he always comes back.
In the park, Tommy meets his friends. There is a white dog named Lucky and a black dog named Max. They all play together. They run, jump, and roll on the grass. Sometimes they fight for the ball, but they don’t get angry. They are good friends.
After the walk, Anna and Tommy go home. Tommy drinks some water and eats a small snack. He doesn’t eat chocolate because it’s bad for dogs. Does he like apples? Yes, he does! He eats one small apple every day.
In the evening, Tommy sits next to Anna on the sofa. She watches TV, and he listens to the sounds. He doesn’t understand the words, but he likes the music. Sometimes he looks out the window. The sky is dark, and the stars shine.
At night, Tommy goes to his bed. He feels clean, warm, and happy. He closes his eyes and dreams about his friends in the park. Does he sleep well? Of course, he does! Tommy is a good dog, and every day is a good day for him.
